Welcome to Giggles and Baskets!
It’s our first blog post! I am so glad to be sharing this, and even more excited that you are here.
So, let me introduce myself to you.
My name is Erin Vanderley and I live outside of Downtown Des Moines with my husband, and our two girls Hadley, and Brinley. We have a floppy eared basset hound named Stella, who gets more attention than she knows what to do with- she’s our cuddle bug.
I have always wanted to start a children’s clothing business, but finding the right time, the right name, everything never added up. Until it did. I happened to be scrolling when literally “Giggles and Baskets” popped into my head, and from there on out, everything seemed to line up. Granted there’s never a perfect time to start a business, I knew this process was going to take a lot of Faith. It hasn’t been easy, there have been lots of questions and “what if’s” and there will continue to be, but as we get up, and grow our brand, and figuring everything out, I hope you will stick with us, and all of the fun, beautiful clothing we have in store for you! No pun intended!
